It doesn't rain it pours.................( lets help the victims of the pouring rain)!!!

RAINING  CATS AND DOGS.....................................:-@

As I am writing this, outside its raining cats, dogs ,lion ,I mean whole jungle.............:-(
I have never seen such ferocious rainy season ever in my life. And our drainage system is icing on the cake.I live in Qasimabad whose almost every nook and corner is having standing water .The famous Wadhu Wah ;-( is also overflowing. But my street is the best of all cause in it water has entered into our garages because of choked gutters. And if it continues to rain we will have to welcome the rain plus gutter water into our deary lounges.Isn't it hell ironic.
It makes me hot under the collar that why ?
Why does our drainage system doesn't work well? But what can be done  to it  has been ragged since it was made.Anyways beside being angry on it  ,I also am really scared right now from the weather . Because the ever so lovely rain is turning into a catastrophe for us the sinful people...........
MAY  GOD BLESS US  AND HAVE MERCY ON US!!
MAY HE FORGIVES US FOR ALL THE WRONGDOINGS
                     AMEEN............................
You know what one of my friend said about the rain   " That the rain is really getting hilarious". That wasn't funny at all but I really liked  the description.

Anyways back to that scary rain  .The rain which is devastating the whole SINDH .Whole  SINDH  is tormenting . People are dying in large numbers, cattle are dying, crops destroyed, people are left homeless and food less.
CROPS FILLED WITH WATER......................

PEOPLE IN SEARCH FOR SAFE PLACE!!......................

TAFFIC JAM  DUE  TO RAIN.......................PEOPLE TRAPPED!!!

VICTIMS TRYING TO GET FOOD FOR THEM!!.....................................
BOATS BEING USED TO GET OUT OF FLOODED HOMES..................................

POOR CATTLE ABOUT TO DROWN IN FLOOD WATER!!.......................................

WOMEN SAVING HER CHILDREN.........................................................

Their whole lives are stirred by rain this year. The areas and people were just recovering from last years flood and this year again  rain increased their misery.
At least 22 districts have been labeled as disaster zones, most of them on the left bank of the River Indus.
At least six million people have been affected with half a million having lost everything. At least 269 people are already confirmed to have died.
The main cities are also flooded like Badin Mir purkhas ,Sanghar, Karachi and also  many other villages. Thar side where they never get enough rain  ,this year its also flooded. .Water borne disease like Malaria and Diarrhea etc have also increased . Its really heartrending to watch the misery all around me. My home's situation will get better I know that ( if the rain stops now, which I hope it INSHALLAH will ) .And ALLHAMDULLILAH I have a shelter, food and all necessities but what about the real victims?

( latest update :After few days my areas conditions went back to normal)

The big question now is what to do to help the victims in this predicament? Is The government doing enough  for the victims ( which I don't think so that they are doing much or what they should and are elected for to do) .Whatever they are doing or not I don't want to get into that debate and details. My concern here is what an individual can do to help ? like last year I hope we all will stand again for our brothers and sisters . Volunteer and raise funds to help them.
What are you gonna do it is up to you to decide. You gonna sit in front of your  TV  and computers. And watch the victims on it but do nothing.  I also know that a lot of you may have helped them by now. But if not this is the time to make yourself  useful to humanity.
I am an Intermediate student and with no job (means no salary). But I have a voice which I wanted to raise for the flood victimized people .And Inshallah I am gonna try my best to do more. Cause every little contribution is helpful.

So lets  stand for the people of our country............And help them through difficult times .Cause who knows next time we all can be the suffering victims and in search of help.................

  8. a wounder way of describing your worries + suggesting the way to help :) <3
btw if u are talking abt governmt so , it has nothing till now apart frm taking some pictures of giving some material to thr jiyala's :O , though as per my knowledge we help ppl bco'z of humanity ,by not watchng thr cast and religion :) .. awl the districts are divided , tharparkar for DR. Arbaba Ghulam Rahim , former chief mister of sindh , Sanghar for Pir Pagaro , Badin for honerable agreesive dr.zulfiqar mirza and soo on !
ppl in these area's are just only hand to mouth , thy do not have savings in thr bank accounts , thy live in a house whose walls are not painted and cemented only the earning source was the cattle thy had and the work thy did in the farms !
now nothing is thr .. thy awl are watchng and seeking for governmt help , help which can overcum the mental aswell as the physical torture during these cruel days ..!
    guess who am I ?? :P

  10. @ Khushbakht: We live in a world where we cry on problems rather than solving. Last year when the government begged for the aid, the United Nations ignored us not because of any hatred or prejudice or political differences but because of corruption that lies within us. They said that how you expect us to believe you, whereas the 2008 earthquake victims are still suffering. Moreover, last year flood victims are still not only suffering but they are ruined when they have not got the aid that was promised to them by the government.
Every year the government disperse funds for development and strengthening the roads, bridges near the rivers. They do this so that water in rain season should not overflow. But, alas! our politicians, they only know one thing,.. as how to bully facts and figues amidst ground realities. Right now our politicians are fightning and blaming each other igniting the fumes of hatred, racism and ethnocentrism. In Lahore the Dengue has plauged the city, while PML-N leader is more worried of our areas than he should first see his home. At the same time our ministrers here in Sindh are more worried on legpulling and igniting ethnic violence than focussing on rain affected people. Both these are doing so as to hide their inefficiency and corruption. What I would like to say that one should start from his own home, neighbor. This way everyone will be doing his/her work that will automatically spread. Keeping this point in mind, I see this articile of yours, a tremendous effort. As even then you are not employed, you cannot do the work that salaried people should do... But at least you are doing your part. I applaud your thoughts.
And as a language teacher, this work is good when I see idioms and expressions that you have used. You have got good potentional. You can be a good writer. This, your work is the basis of your future goal to be a good writer. At the end I pray with you, MAY GOD BLESS US AND HAVE MERCY ON US!!
MAY HE FORGIVES US FOR ALL THE WRONGDOINGS... Aamen.
